The right glasses for your face shape

The majority of the population in first world countries wear glasses, although its tough to choose the right glasses. But don’t worry there IS a stylish pair our there for you. Here is a quick guide to preparing yourself as best possible.

The round shape – the best frames to suit a round shapes are angular, it will take the roundness of your face by adding to your structure. Also use them to make a statement, it’s better to go bold as it highlights your features.

The square shape – Soften the defined lines, you can select rounder or more circular styles, best to choose thinner metal frames to look less heavy rather than darker wooden frames.

The triangular face – A triangular face is top heavy, so you need glasses to less accentuate your chin and apply proportion throughout the face. Look for thin light metal or clear frames – to add balance to the bottom of your face.

The diamond face – Similar to the triangular face you need to balance the proportions of your face using your glasses. You will although want frames with top heavy features which will soften your razor sharp cheekbones. This is a great look with the top heavy glasses it will really set your face aside and work on balancing your face a little more.

The oblong face shape – Rectangle shapes work well they will enhance your sharp, chiseled nature. Keep an eye out for frames that are wider but tapered down slightly.

The oval face shape – Well done you’ve won the genetic jackpot, most frames will look good on you but oversized shapes or aviators are best. Although if you love other styles not to worry you can pull it off.
